years of work as a manager and with retail consultants in the
smallest convenience stores to the biggest hypermarket
organisations both in the UK and around the world I was
always inspired by the success of Tesco.
How did
the No 3, UK supermarket chain in 1970, grow to
sales of over £41.8
billion profits of £2.2 billion, expand worldwide and
be No.1 or No.2 in almost every market
in which they operate?
